TRAVERSE CITY -- At least two local candidate forums will be replayed on public access television before the Nov. 4 election.
A forum held Oct. 23 in Grand Traverse County with candidates for the U.S. Congress 4th District will be aired at 10 p.m. today, 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday on Up North 2. An Oct. 28 forum with Grand Traverse County commission candidates from the fifth, seventh, eighth and ninth districts will be shown on Up North 2 at 8 a.m. today and 6 p.m. Sunday. Both forums were sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Grand Traverse Area.
More forums could be aired on the channel, as well as on Interlochen Public Radio, before the election, league President Barbara Berry said.
