INTERLOCHEN -- Two people died after a pair of vehicles collided on U.S. 31, police said.
The head-on collision occurred around noon Tuesday on U.S. 31 South, just east of Gonder Road in Green Lake Township.
The crash forced the closure of U.S. 31 from South Long Lake Road to Gonder Road.
Grand Traverse County sheriff's deputies did not release the victims' names.
