INTERLOCHEN — A Frankfort woman and her father died in a Grand Traverse County traffic crash.
Nancy Mueller, 62, and passenger Louis Mueller, 91, died in a crash on U.S. 31 near Morgan Run Drive in Green Lake Township at about noon Tuesday. Nancy Mueller was driving west when a truck driven east by Benzonia resident Miguel Cardenas crossed the center line and struck her vehicle.
Cardenas, 36, and his passenger, Sara Avalos, 29, also of Benzonia, were taken to Munson Medical Center.
Roads were icy at the time of the crash, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
