TRAVERSE CITY — Author Elmore Leonard is coming to Traverse City thanks to a collaboration between the National Writers Series and the National Cherry Festival.
The crime writer’s presentation will be part of a Pure Michigan Picnic July 2 at the Open Space Park East. Leonard is the author of more than 50 books, including “Get Shorty” and “Rum Punch.”
Chef Eric Nittolo of the Boathouse Restaurant will cook and wines will be from the Bowers Harbor Vineyard.
Tickets are on sale now. Reserved seats are $39.95 and include dinner and a book written by Leonard. Premium seats of $49.95 include a book signed by Leonard.
