Voters approve Glen Lake schools millage

TRAVERSE CITY — The Leelanau County Clerk's office confirmed that voters approved a millage levy by 21 votes for Glen Lake Community Schools.

The 7-year $1.91 million bond proposal for buses and technology passed by a margin of 316 to 295 in Tuesday's election. The results were confirmed Wednesday by the clerk's office.

Voters in Benzie County's Gilmore Township on Tuesday also approved a 0.75 mill levy in perpetuity for district library funding on a vote of 115 yes to 21 no.
