TRAVERSE CITY -- Deputies arrested an Eastport man after he allegedly assaulted police officers and ambulance personnel.
Anthony Lidster, 22, was charged with malicious destruction of police property, assaulting, resisting and obstructing a police officer and domestic violence.
Deputies responded to an assault complaint Sunday in the parking lot of Tom's Food Market in Acme.
Lidster "continued to kick at deputies and EMS personnel" as they attempted to arrest him, according to court records.
Deputies placed Lidster in the back of a patrol car, where he allegedly kicked out the driver's side rear window.
A Michigan State Police trooper used a Taser to subdue the suspect.
