HONOR — Mr. and Mrs. William J. Bos of Honor will observe their golden wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.
William J. Bos and J. Kay Fortner were married on Dec. 29, 1962, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion, Ohio. The Rev. L.L. Zimmerman officiated at the ceremony.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Bos graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1964. The couple made their home in Kankakee, Ill. Mr. Bos worked as both a teacher and administrator and retired in 1994 with 30 years of service. Mrs. Bos worked as a secondary teacher and retired in 1993.
The couple's children are Lisa Bos Pineiro of Patterson, Calif., Randy Bos of Scottsdale, Ariz., Lynn Bos and Scott Bos of Bourbonnais, Ill. They also have nine grandchildren.
An anniversary celebration for family and friends is planned for July 14, 2013, in Benzie County.
