MANISTEE —
A local man is being held on a $1 million bond after he was charged for shooting a teenage girl.
Paul Hard, 42, is charged assault with intent to murder and the use of a firearm during a felony. He was arraigned this morning in Manistee where he’s in jail.
Police believe Hard, of Bear Lake, shot a Copemish girl at her home Sunday afternoon. The girl is expected to recover.
