Crystal Lake Deaths

Sue McNeal owner of Bayview Party Store in Frankfort said she knew Ronald Elton Wilkins, 57, of Frankfort, who died on Crystal Lake after he and his friend Elwood Gustaf Holmquist, 54, of Benzonia crashed trough the ice on Crystal Lake. Both were pronounced dead around 11 a.m. at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort.
