Jahnke 60th

TRAVERSE CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jahnke of Traverse City observed their diamond wedding anniversary on July 26, 2012. They reaffirmed their vows in a ceremony following the 5 p.m. service on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Cake and coffee were served after the ceremony. The Jahnke family also celebrated later that evening at a local restaurant.

Robert Jahnke and Carole Jensen were married on July 26, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Everett, Wash. The Rev. Edwin Johnson performed the ceremony.

Mr. Jahnke retired as a design engineer from Ford Motor Company. Mrs. Jahnke retired from American Motors (Crysler Corp.). They have lived in Traverse City for 25 years.

The couple's children are Deborah and Tim Hoepner of Livonia, Bryan Jahnke of Puerto Rico, and Bob Jahnke of Lake Ann. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
