KALKASKA —
A Upper Peninsula man died early Saturday in a single-car crash in Cold Springs Township.
William Mladenoff, 22, of Ontonagon, was driving west on County Road 612 near East Shore Drive shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the vehicle. The car left the road and hit several trees.
Mladenoff was the only person in the car, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kalkaska Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the accident.
Mladenoff worked for Booz Allen Hamilton in Grayling where he trained military recruits. He also was a National Guard soldier and served one year in Afghanistan.
