The Titans (4-2) had taken a 1-0 lead in the first period on Mitchell Snider's short-handed goal. P.J. Dienes and Vinnie Pietrangelo assisted.
Brother Rice tied the game on a Andrew Szutica power-play goal in the second period.

"We skated pretty well and controlled the game for much of the first two periods," West coach Jeremy Rintala said. "But in the third period we took some unnecessary penalties and you can't do that against a skilled team like Brother Rice. Our inexperience showed (in third period).
