TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City West won its first Class A district basketball title in 10 years Friday with a 60-37 win over Alpena.

West (12-10) will play Grand Haven in Monday's regional at Traverse City Central. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. West lost at Grand Haven 54-44 two months ago.

"They're very good, no doubt," Graham said. "They're well coached. They play good defense. We'll have our work cut out for us."

Grand Haven beat Muskegon on Friday.

The Titans gained control early in beating Alpena. West led 28-18 at half.
