TRAVERSE CITY -- The Traverse City Beach Bums have signed Paul Cruz for the upcoming season.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound outfielder played two seasons in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He is known for his defense and will hit near the top of the rotation.
Cruz played two years at the University of Tampa and led his team to the 2007 Division II National Championship.
