TRAVERSE CITY — Beach Bums sign outfielder
With less than a month before the season opener, the Traverse City Beach Bums have signed outfielder Brian Heere.
The lefty spent two seasons in the Cleveland Indians organization. Last year he hit .245 with three homers.
Heere was an All-Big 12 standout at Kansas.
Make it six in a row for the Traverse City Beach Bums.
