Directors needed

TRAVERSE CITY — Brickways, formerly known as Community Living Center, is looking for individuals to serve on their corporate board of directors in areas of public relations, finance, investments, risk management, marketing and fundraising.

Other leadership opportunities may be available in the future including event management, education, awareness and fundraising.

Drivers for vets

TRAVERSE CITY — Volunteers are needed for the Disabled American Veterans and Department of Veterans Affairs joint transportation program. Drivers, using DAV donated vehicles, transport veterans from their homes to and from medical appointments at the Saginaw, Detroit and Ann Arbor VAMC Hospitals.

Volunteer drivers will be required to pass a medical evaluation and then be registered as a VA volunteer.
