TRAVERSE CITY — Police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station.
A man described as being in his mid-30s went into the Admiral station on 732 East Front Street on Wednesday at about 10:30 p.m. He pushed a male employee into a back room and closed the door, then demanded money from a female employee. He did not show a weapon.
The female employee gave him cash, and he ran off.
Investigating officers then arrested another man who almost struck them with his vehicle while the officers were on foot with a tracking dog. That man, 20, of Williamsburg, was driving recklessly and had been smoking marijuana, police said.
Additional details will appear in Friday’s Record-Eagle.
