SUTTONS BAY — A judge sentenced Lisa Placek, a former teacher and coach at Traverse City West Senior High School, to a minimum of 23 months in prison.
Placek, 45, pleaded guilty earlier this month to a count of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration.
She was originally charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct after police said she had oral sex with a West sophomore male student in December.
Placek was sentenced this morning by Leelanau County 13th Circuit Court Judge Thomas Power.
