GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Make that 100 straight wins for the Penn State volleyball team.
The Nitany Lions cruised into the national semifinals on Saturday with a 25-18, 25-17, 25-22 sweep of California in the regional championship.
It was the 100th straight win for the two-time defending champions.
It also keeps Penn State in line to win another title with just two more wins to go.
Senior All-American setter Alisha Glass was named an all-regional player along with teammates Arielle Wilson and Blair Brown. Megan Hodge was named the Most Outstanding Player. Glass is from Leland.
In Saturday's win, Glass had 35 assists and a team-high 12 digs.
Penn State will play either Hawaii or Michigan on Thursday in Tampa as part of the Final Four.
