HARRIET 'HATTIE' DUFORD, 77, of Las Vegas, formerly of Honor, died on Nov. 29, 2011. She was a resident of Benzie County most of her life.

Her family would like to invite her friends and family to a memorial luncheon at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at Fallen Timbers, 13901 Honor Hwy. (formerly The Windmill, where Gene and Hattie spent many years putting out great meals and making good friends).

JEAN M. KALBFLEISCH, 86, of Traverse City, formerly of St. Ignace, passed away Saturday evening, June 30, 2012, at Munson Medical Center.

The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

CHARLES J. McCLAIN, 69, of Central Lake, died June 25, 2012, at home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, at First Congregational Church of Central Lake. A gathering of friends will follow from 2 to 4 p.m. at their home.

Arrangements have been handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

ADA RANSOM, 80, of Central Lake, died June 29, 2012.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

PAUL H. SECHLER, 82, of Mancelona, passed away July 2, 2012.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Mancelona Baptist Church. Burial will take place in Northville at a later date.

The Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes is handling the arrangements.

DONALD ALLEN 'BUBBA' TORREY, 39, of Kaleva, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 1, 2012, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaleva, with Pastor Carla Rush officiating.

Terwilliger Funeral Home in Kaleva is in charge of arrangements.
