NORENE D. BORGELD, 66, of Traverse City, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. Arrangements are being made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, Kalkaska. A complete obituary will be in the next edition of the Record-Eagle.

MARINE CORPS SGT. JUSTIN M. HANSEN, 26, died Tuesday while conducting combat operations in the Northern Province of Badghis, Afghanistan. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m. at Kingsley High School with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

A full obituary will run tomorrow. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home.

JAMES CHRISTOPHER MCCORMICK II, baby boy to loving parents Kristin Bryan Harvey and James C. McCormick was stillborn on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Private family services will take place and the family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

ROBERT HARLEY MORRISON, 78, of Traverse City died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Grace Episcopal Church, Traverse City with a church reception to follow. Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City handled the services.

MARIO MUCARIA, 73, of Rapid City, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 with visitation one hour prior. A complete obituary will be in the next edition of the Record-Eagle.

Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.

HAROLD EDWARD SCHERMERHORN, 99, of Kalkaska, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Kalkaska Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Kalkaska Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow the service at the C.E.T.A. Hall. There will be a graveside service at 6 p.m., Thursday at Cleon Township Cemetery in Copemish. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home.

LYNETTE MAY THARP, 61, of Traverse City, died Sunday evening, July 29, 2012, at Grand Traverse Pavilions. Graveside service will be held today, at 2:30 p.m.,at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements were made with the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

DOCIA "MARY" WEAVER of Frederic passed away on Sunday July 29, 2012.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2012 between 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 11 a.m.
