---- — THOMAS L. HOFFMAN, 75, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
Visitation will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to an Educational Fund being established for Tom's grandchildren or to the Father Fred Foundation where he volunteered. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home. A complete obituary will appear in Wednesday's Record Eagle.
JILL MACDONALD, 52 of Traverse City, died suddenly on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at McLaren Hospital in Petoskey. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, Aug 23, at 10 a.m. at the Traverse City Opera House. A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the Record-Eagle.

MARGARET J. ROOT, 71, of Mancelona, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Munson Medical Center.
A graveside service at Chapman Cemetery in Custer Township will be Monday, Aug. 27, at 12:30 p.m. The family will receive friends also on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at The Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

JESSIE E. SVIDRON, 62, of Eastlake passed away peacefully Sunday evening Aug. 19, 2012. at her home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Manistee. Visitation at the funeral home will be two hours preceding the service.
