A visitation will take place on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 4-6 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A chapel service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 12:45 p.m. at Midland Memorial Gardens in Midland with visitation from noon until the time of service at 12:45. Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

DOROTHY HORTON O'ROURKE, age 97 of Schoolcraft, formerly of Bear Lake died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012. No services are planned. Cremation took place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee with final interment in Fairview Cemetery in Bear Lake.

DAVID R. SACKSTEDER, age 80 of Brethren and formerly of Irons passed away on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012. A Memorial Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at St. Ignatius Church in Luther with Father Ronald Schneider, celebrant. The family will meet with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. A military graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee.
