MUSIC/ART/PERFORMANCE

"Pre-Festival and More" Manistee High School bands concert, Feb. 26, 7 p.m., high school auditorium. High School Symphonic and Middle School Seventh Grade bands, performing pieces they will present at the MSBOA District Band and Orchestra Festival Evaluations March 5-6 at the HS.

Betsie Valley Elementary country dance jamboree, Feb. 28, 6:30 p.m., for all ages. No experience necessary. 1st graders will be learning some dances during school and hope to help lead those in attendance. The Josephs of Manistee Co. will serve as caller and musicians. Refreshments available for purchase; benefitting the 1st grade and Betsie Valley PTS. For those taking the Benzie Bus, the evening will conclude at approx. 8 p.m.
