Meet musicians
Traverse City — The community can meet the musicians behind the music at a Traverse Symphony Orchestra event Tuesday, June 19.
"Musicians & Morsels" will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at Morsels, with complimentary coffee and a chance to visit with hornist Robert Pavelek, Concertmaster Paul Sonner, and cellist Lynne Tobin. Play to be staged
Benzonia — The Benzie County Players will present "None of the Above," a comedy by Jennie Lyn Bader.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. June 22 through 24 and June 30; and 2 p.m. July 1, at Mills Community House, 891 U.S. 31. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students at the door or at the Benzie Chamber of Commerce.
Wolff art on display
Leland — Glenn Wolff is the Old Art Building's artist-in-residence.
An exhibit of his work titled "Farm and Orchard Report: New and Recent Mixed Media Paintings, Drawings and Prints" will open with a 5-8 p.m. reception Friday, June 22, at the Old Art Building, 111 Main St. The exhibit continues 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 23, with an 11 a.m. lecture by Wolff; and noon-4 p.m. Sunday, June 24. Plant native
Omena — Gail Ingraham, owner/designer at Bellwether Gardens, will discuss designing gardens with native plants as part of the Saving Birds Thru Habitat Speaker Series.

Folk duo performs
Elk Rapids — Folk duo Mustard's Retreat will perform Friday, June 22, at the Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall, 401 River St.
The concert starts at 8 p.m. and is in honor of the late Dave Duverney, a long-time supporter of music, the community and the Town Hall. Advance tickets are $15 at the Town Hall, Chef Charles and the Corner Druggist in Elk Rapids, at Oryana Natural Foods in Traverse City, or by calling 941-8667. Tickets are $20 at the door.
Country dance
Summit City — A country dance will be held Saturday, June 23, at the Summit City Grange on Factory St.
A 6 p.m. hot dog supper will be followed by dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. to live music. Donations are welcome. Call 263-4499 for details.
Quilts on display
Arcadia — The Arcadia Area Historical Society's "Patches & Threads & Stitches, Oh My!" quilt show will include more than 100 quilts.
Show hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mill and Third streets. Admission is $5. Proceeds benefit the Arcadia Historical Museum.
Stone Circle starts
Elk Rapids — Poetry, storytelling and music around a fire are part of gatherings at Stone Circle.

Berries and cars
Traverse City — The Grand Traverse Pavilions' Strawberry Social on Sunday, June 24, will feature a showcase of classic cars.
The event will be held 2-4 p.m. at the Pavilions, off South Elmwood Avenue. Strawberry shortcake and sundaes are $5 for adults; $3 for children 12 and younger. Car show entry and spectator admission is free. To enter a car, call 941-5404.
Historical exhibit
Leland — A new exhibit, "Leland — Then and Now," is on display at the Leelanau Historical Museum, 203 E. Cedar St.
The photo exhibit traces the transition of Leland over the past 130 years. It joins current exhibits "Life on North Manitou Island: 1895-1930" and "Shipwrecks of the Manitou Passage." Watercolor class
East Jordan — Artist Luke Buck will offer a watercolor workshop for artists of all skill levels at Raven Hill Discovery Center, 4737 Fuller Road.
