EMPIRE -- Dunegrass, an annual summertime music festival, has set its 2010 lineup and "early bird" tickets are on sale.
"We've taken it back to being a local music festival," said organizer Ryan Lake. "Ninety percent of our music is from Michigan."
Dunegrass, scheduled for Aug. 6-8, will feature some 32 bands, food, beverages and local arts and crafts. It will be held on more than 20 acres off M-72 about six miles east of Empire.
Early bird tickets are $59.95 for the entire event. Children ages 16 and under are admitted free with a paying guest.
Gates open Aug. 6 at 8 a.m., music starts about 2 p.m. and goes through Aug. 8 at midnight. Camping is available for $25 per car at the gate; motor homes are welcome.
Acts lined up include Big Sams Funky Nation, Steppin' In it, Rootstand, Jen Sygit and Sam Corbin, Joshua Davis and Fool Rooster, The Rachael Davis Band, Delilah DeWylde and the Lost Boys, Detour Bluegrass, Ralston Bowles, Luke Winslow-King Trio, K. Jones and the Benzie Playboys, Covert Operations, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Lonesome County, Red Tail Ring, Billy Brandt, Soul Patch, Graham Parsons and the Go 'Rounds, Overneath, Full Cord, Michael Anne Erlewine, Lac La Belle, The Preservation, The New Third Coast, Susan Fawcett, Ryan Lake with LWK3, Cabin Fever, Puente, Hawks and Owls, Blue Dirt Band, Marco and Asim.
Rachael Davis will host a gospel hour and Bob Bernard and Bruce Ling will host a waltz hour.
