Suttons Bay hosting village open house

SUTTONS BAY -- The Village of Suttons Bay is having a holiday open house Sunday.

Events will begin at noon; shops and galleries will have specials and decorations and refreshments and activities will be available.

Holiday craft activities for kids

GREILICKVILLE -- The Great Lakes Children's Museum is offering holiday crafts activities for children of all ages on Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free with paid admission to the museum, which is $6 per person, free for children under two.

Kids musical at the City Opera House

TRAVERSE CITY -- The City Opera House presents "Click, Clack, Moo," a musical where cows and chickens band together to improve their working conditions.

The funny, 60-minute stage production by Theatreworks USA is recommended for audiences age 4 and up. The musical is based on the Caldecott-winning book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

"Click, Clack, Moo" will be presented at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at the City Opera House, 106 E. Front St. Tickets are available at www.cityoperahouse.org or by calling the box office at 941-8082. Tickets are $11 for adults and $6 for children.

Crystal Ball benefits Frankfort hospital

FRANKFORT -- The Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Holiday Charity Ball is scheduled for Dec. 5 at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa.

The Crystal Ball will begin at 5 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and wine, a silent auction and "drop in the bucket" raffle. Dinner follows at 7 p.m. with a live auction and dancing to the music of Clearwater Band.

Invitations may be received by contacting Sally Cook at 352-8159. Reservations are $75 and must be made no later than Nov. 25.

Holiday decorating uses natural items

TRAVERSE CITY -- Art Van is holding a free holiday decorating class Saturday.
