Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel: The world famous singing pre-teen chipmunk trio return to contend with the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes. Rated PG for some mild rude humor.

Avatar: A band of humans are pitted in a battle against a distant planet's indigenous population. Rated PG-13 for intense epic battle sequences and warfare, sensuality, language and some smoking.

The Blind Side: A poor, oversized and under-educated teenager is recruited by a major college football program where he is groomed into an athletically and academically successful NFL prospect. Rated PG-13 for one scene involving brief violence, drug and sexual references.

Boondock Saints II: The MacManus brothers are living a quiet life in Ireland with their father, but when they learn their beloved priest has been killed by mob forces, the duo return to Boston to bring justice to those responsible. Rated R for bloody violence, language and some nudity.

Did You Hear About the Morgans?: In New York City, an estranged couple who witness a murder are relocated to small-town Wyoming as part of a witness-protection program. Rated PG-13 for some sexual references and momentary violence.

Invictus: Nelson Mandela initiates a venture to unite apartheid-torn South Africa: Enlist the national rugby team on a mission to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Rated PG-13 for brief strong language.

It's Complicated: During his son's college graduation, Jane hooks up with her ex-husband, Jake, who's married to a younger woman. Rated R for some drug content and sexuality.

Nine: Famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) grapples with epic crises in his personal and professional life. At the same time, he must strike a balance among the demands of the numerous women in his life, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his confidant (Judi Dench) and others. Rated PG-13 for sexual content and smoking.

The Princess and the Frog: A fairy tale centered on a young girl named Princess Tiana who lives in New Orleans' French Quarter during the Jazz Age. Rated G.

The Road: A post-apocalyptic tale of a man and his son trying to survive by any means possible. Rated R for some violence, disturbing images and language.

Sherlock Holmes: Detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, some startling images and a scene of suggestive material.

The Twilight Saga New Moon: When Edward leaves Bella, her hole world is turned upside down. With Bella's heart broken, she turns to Jacob (Jake) her best friend to fill the void that was left by Edward. Rated PG-13 for some violence and action.

Up in the Air: With a job that has him traveling around the country firing people, Ryan Bingham leads an empty life out of a suitcase, until his company does the unexpected: ground him. Rated R for language and some sexual content.
