West Senior High stages 'Spamalot'
Traverse City West Senior High presents Monty Python's "Spamalot" 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, in the school auditorium. Tickets start at $20. Contact the WSH box office at 933-7509.

Bras for a cause
The second annual Bras along the Bay is Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Traverse City Holiday Inn. An 11 a.m. unity string of bras will support the Munson Mammography Assistance Fund. Register 10-11 a.m. day of the event or early at Nifty Things, Thompson Pharmacy or radio station Z93 in downtown Traverse City. Cost is $10 to participate.
Rock show
The Grand Traverse Rock and Mineral Club's annual show is this weekend at the History Center of Traverse City, 322 Sixth St. The show is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30. A special area will be set up for young rock hounds. Admission is $2 adults and free for children 12 and younger.
Musical fundraiser
The Music House Museum presents a concert fundraiser for the restoration of their 1922 Mortier dance hall organ. Miriam Pico with David Chown and Detroit Red Wings organist Dave Caledine will perform. The concert is 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at First Congregational Church in Traverse City. Tickets are $30. Chorus benefit
Cherry Capital Men's Chorus performs a benefit concert for Safe Harbor Sunday, Sept. 30, at Central United Methodist Church, 222 Cass St. The a capella harmony begins at 3 p.m. A free will offering will aid Safe Harbor's homeless outreach program.
Dynamite music
Acoustic Dynamite plays tonight, Sept. 28, at Horizon Books in Traverse City. The trio of Bob Downes, Jim Moore and Mark Cantrell performs 8:30-10:30 p.m. at the downtown bookstore.
