TRAVERSE CITY -- Joseph Stowell, past president of Moody Bible Institute and current president of Cornerstone University, is the keynote speaker at Transform 2010.
The event will be held at the Traverse City Christian Schools Emerson Road campus Thursday.
"We're a school that is in transformation," said Craig O'Connor, development director. "We're 14 years old and we're ready to move it up a notch."
O'Connor said there are about 200 students at the schools.
Preschool through fifth grade is held at 1514 Birmley Road, the former Church of the Living God/Cornerstone Elementary school.
Middle school (sixth through eighth grades) and high school (ninth through 12th grades) are at 753 Emerson Road.
About two years ago, Cornerstone Elementary, which was an offshoot of the Church of the Living God elementary program, merged with TC Christian School -- adding an "S" to the name.
The March 25 event begins at 6:15 p.m. with a reception and also includes performances by the school choir and a presentation about the school, including testimonials from current students.
Prior to becoming president of Cornerstone in February 2008, Stowell served for 18 years as president of Chicago's Moody Bible Institute.
He is on the board of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and author of more than 20 Christian books.
Tickets for Transform 2010 are $9 in advance and $12 at the door. Group discounts are available.
