The Edible Art Show is Saturday, March 3, during the Indoor Farmers Market at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Votes cost $1 each, with money going to the Father Fred Food Pantry.
Winners in the annual Fiske's Farm Market Cherry Recipe Cook-Off have been chosen.
This year's categories were Entrées and Sauces/Compotes.
Entrée winners are:
-- Kathy Floyd, Charlevoix, first place for Southern Cherry Fried Chicken.
-- Katie McLeod, East Jordan, second place for Holy Molé — Chicken with Cherry-Infused Molé.
-- Bettey Renner, Central Lake, third place for Cherry BBQ Pork Sandwiches.
Sauces/Compotes winners are:
-- Kathleen Bowman, Boyne City, first place for Cherry Harvest Compote.
n Sandy Barnes, Eastport, second place for Cherry Jalapeno Salsa.
-- Vivian Shearer, Charlevoix, third place for Cran-Cherry Compote.
Judges were Ron Jolly, of WTCM; Babette Stenius-Stolz, of the Petoskey News-Review; Julia Drost, of Rowe Inn; and Henry Bisson, chef at Lulu's Bistro.

A chili cookoff with more than 25 kinds of chili will be held at Manton High School Saturday, March 3. Doors open at 4 p.m.; voting ends at 5:30 p.m. Cost for all-you-can-eat chili is $5 per person. Children under 5 eat free. There's also a pie auction; 824-3812.
