Third Level Crisis Intervention Center, Traverse City, recently announced the addition of Chris Wendel to its Board of Directors.

Wendel has been part of the Michigan Small Business & Technology Center since 2003 and has work experience in marketing, and manufacturing as well as 15 years of retail experience.

He also is a contributing writer for the Traverse City Business News and plans and teaches an entrepreneurial curriculum at Northwestern Michigan College.

Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord received a five-star rating for joint replacement, total knee replacement and hip fracture treatment for 2012 from HealthGrades, an independent source of physician information and hospital quality ratings.

Otsego Memorial is the only hospital in the Northern Michigan Region, which includes Alpena, Crawford, Charlevoix, Cheboygan and Otsego counties, to receive the five-star rating in joint and total knee replacement and hip fracture treatment.

TC Central to induct new Hall of Fame members
