Traverse City — An Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be held Monday, Nov. 19, at Grace Episcopal Church, 341 Washington St.,
Led by Christian, Jewish and Muslim clergy and laypeople, the evening begins with a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by prayer, music and words of wisdom on Thanksgiving from the various religious traditions. The community is welcome. For details, call 947-2330.

Bear Lake — Bear Lake United Methodist Church will host a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, from noon to 3 p.m. Everyone is invited.
Holiday cookie walk
Traverse City — The United Methodist Women at Central United Methodist Church will hold their annual cookie walk starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the church, 222 Cass St.
Small boxes are $6; large boxes $8. Profits support mission projects. Also planned is a Wonderful Wednesday meal followed by holiday arts and crafts, music and fellowship for all ages from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
DivorceCare series
Traverse City — A new session of DivorceCare Recovery Seminar and Support Group starts Thursday, Nov. 29, at First Congregational Church, 6105 Center Road.
The biblically-based, weekly video series and support group is for people who are separated or divorced. Sessions meet from 7 to 9 p.m. for 13 Thursdays at the church. Sessions are self-contained and participants may join anytime.
A $15 donation covers materials and child care is available when planned in advance. For details or to arrange child care, call 947-6698.
Crafters sought
Kalkaska — Applications are being accepted for the Christmas in Kalkaska Holiday Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Birch Street Elementary School.
