'Days of our Lives' stars at Horizon

TRAVERSE CITY — Two stars of "Days of our Lives" will be signing copies of their memoir Wednesday, July 25.

Bill and Susan Hayes, who played Doug and Julie Williams, will be at Horizon Books, 243 E. Front St., from 4 to 6 p.m. Their 2005 joint autobiography is "Like Sands Through the Hourglass." Their new book is "Trumpet."

Pajama jam

KALKASKA — The Kalkaska County Library will host Joel Tacey's Pajama Jam Comedy Show at 5 p.m. Monday, July 30.

Everyone is encouraged to wear pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal. The free program is suggested for ages 5 to 13.

Signings at Saturn

GAYLORD — Two authors will be signing books at Saturn Booksellers, 133 Main St., Gaylord, this week.

Mary D. Bowman, author of "Little Spruce of Raspberry Creek," will be at the store from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

Kristina Riggle, who has written two Michigan-based novels, will be at the store Thursday, July 26, 6:30 p.m.
