Pvt. Kyle Moorhead has graduated from Marine Corp boot camp in San Diego, Calif. and will begin combat and military occupational specialty training. Moorhead, son of Chris and Tammy Trudeau, is a 2009 graduate of Traverse City West High School.

Lance Cpl. Justin Martinson of Marine 1/5 Bravo Company, son of Ron and Jamie Martinson of Traverse City, returned to Camp Pendleton on Dec. 17, after a tour in Afghanistan beginning in May 2009. Martinson is the fiance of Jessica Williams of Traverse City. He is a graduate of Traverse City West High School.

Army Pvt. Samantha Kosiboski has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Jeff Kosiboski of Honor and a 2007 graduate of Benzie Central High School.
