Great Northern Roasting Co.'s "Birds, Bees & Trees" coffee is now available at Oleson's grocery stores. Oleson's, already committed to local foods, is now selling the 100 percent organic coffee.
According to Brad Beckwith of Great Northern Roasting, 867 E. Silver Lake Road in Traverse City, every bag of Great Northern Roasting Co.'s coffee has an online tracking code to find out where the coffee originated. Three percent of sales from Birds, Bees and Trees coffee goes to the Pollinator Partnership to help save bees from colony collapse disorder.
