Connie Clouse, director of nurses at the Sundance, Wyo., Long Term Care facility, is the recipient of the Norman S. Holt Award for Nursing Excellence.
Clouse is the daughter of Fritz and Lois Clouse, of Kingsley.
She graduated from Kingsley High School and received a degree in nursing from Northwestern Michigan College. She has lived in Sundance, Wyo., for nine years.
The prestigious award was granted by the Wyoming Hospital Association. She was nominated by the Crook County Medical Services District Board of Directors for being an "extraordinary nurse who has distinguished herself in many ways in extraordinary circumstances" and for her contribution to recent improvements at Sundance's Long Term Care facility.

Airway Oxygen Inc. has been named a quality respiratory care provider under the Quality Respiratory Care Recognition Program of the American Association of Respiratory Care for the third consecutive year.
The program is aimed at making sure residents cared for by home care organizations have access to respiratory care services provided by qualified respiratory therapists. Recognized organizations are listed on the AARC's consumer website, www.yourlunghealth.org.
