Mary Smith, of Bellaire, writes, "Back in 1956-57, I worked one summer at a resort on Elk Lake. It was called Rex Terrace. I can't even remember where it was, but I did get their recipe for salad dressing!"
Rex Terrace Resort French Dressing
¼ c. onion, ground or juice, if possible
½ c. sugar
½ c. ketchup
½ c. vinegar
½ t. salt
½ T. paprika
1 c. oil
Blend all ingredients together in food processor of blender.
For blue cheese dressing, add ½ c. crumpled blue cheese.
