It's the Taste the Passion wine tour Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 4-5. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Seventeen wineries in Leelanau County will pair food with wine and cider. Tickets are $30 available at www.lpwines.com. There's also a reception Friday, Feb 3, at the Homestead Resort.

Among the pairings are Greek-inspired chili dogs and Big Paw Red at Chateau Fontaine; mini chocolate and honey mousse cups with sea salt and cocoa nibs paired with Whitewater at Gills Pier; and crepes with chocolate cream cheese filling topped with strawberry sauce and served with cider at Tandem Ciders.
