Apple Crisp
Apples (enough to fill 9-by-13 cake pan)
½ c. white sugar
½ t. cinnamon
2 T. butter
2 T. honey
Topping:
1 heaping c. flour
½ c. brown sugar
½ t. salt
1 heaping c. oatmeal, quick
½ c. soft margarine
½ t. cinnamon
Grease 9-by-13 cake pan. Slice full of not-too-tart apples. Mix ½ c. white sugar and ½ t. cinnamon; sprinkle over top of apples. Take 2 T. butter and drop in small pieces over top of apples. Drizzle 2 T. honey over top as well. Mix together toppings til crumbly. Sprinkle on top of apple mixture and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to one hour. Check with fork to make sure apples are done.
Serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
