Slabtown Burgers hit by burglars

TRAVERSE CITY -- Police are investigating a break-in at Slabtown Burgers.

Traverse City police were called shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday to the West Front Street restaurant.

Officers found someone broke into the business overnight.

The suspect or suspects forced entry through an overhead door and took cash.

Police are still working with the business owner to determine the amount of money missing.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the TCPD detective bureau at 995-5152 or Silent Observer at 947-TIPS.
