Kenneth Terry Middaugh

KINGSLEY — Kenneth Terry Middaugh, 72 years, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, on the family farm in Summit City.

Terry, as everyone called him, was born on Jan. 18, 1940, in Buckley, son of the late Kenneth and Mabel Hall Middaugh.

He was a 1958 graduate of Kingsley High school.

He worked and retired from the State of Michigan.

He was a man who loved his family and was close to all of his children and grandchildren, even the ones in far-away Africa.

He loved hunting, fishing, boating, horseback riding, snowmobiling, skiing, tennis, golf, riding his motorcycle, playing chess, euchre and the drums. He put a million miles on motorcycles and nearly as many on his tractors. He traveled across the country, never knew a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

To cherish his love, laughter and memories forever are his wife of 35 years, Holly Reno Middaugh; his children, Pamela (Ric) Davis, Dr. Wendy Middaugh Bovard (John D. Bovard), Tim (Amy) Middaugh, Bill Middaugh (Melissa Hromada) and LaMont (June) Middaugh; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; in-laws, Bob and Pat Reno; and several other family members, including Jennie Johnson. He is also survived by his loving dogs, Tigger, Jennie, Justin, Cindy, Buttons and Smokey Sue, who were his faithful companions.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Kingsley Baptist Church on Blackman Road in Kingsley at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Independent Gospel Missions, 990 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY 14623. Donations should state it is for Rhea Bovard Githaiga/Sandra Medical Fund.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
