SUTTONS BAY -- Two Peshawbestown residents face a host of felony charges after they allegedly entered a home and attacked two men.
Ka-Gagi-Jingwak Shomin, 18, and Kitchi-Kishap Shomin, 24, each are charged with armed robbery, first-degree home invasion and assault with a dangerous weapon.
The Shomins, who are brothers, allegedly entered a home on Jacobson Road in Suttons Bay Township Friday. They had kitchen knives and demanded money from two men inside, court records show.
A fight ensued, and one of the victims told police Kitchi-Kishap Shomin cut the temple area of his head with the knife during the scuffle.
Police don't believe the Shomins knew the victims. They arrived at the residence a short time before the alleged assault seeking another man who wasn't there, according to court documents. They left and returned to demand money a short time later.
