TRAVERSE CITY -- Police arrested a Traverse City man after he allegedly racked up thousands of dollars on a stolen credit card.
Marty Pennell, 27, was charged with two counts of stealing and retaining a credit card without consent.
Pennell allegedly used the stolen credit card to book a room Nov. 7 at the Grand Traverse Resort. He also attempted to charge a $7,200 watch from the Diamond Galleria to his room.
He allegedly admitted to a Grand Traverse sheriff's deputy that he stole the credit card, according to court documents.
