TRAVERSE CITY -- A Traverse City teen was charged with larceny after she allegedly stole a woman's diamond ring and watch.
Diana Fernandez-Diaz, 17, allegedly stole a diamond ring and watch while staying at the victim's house.
The victim alledgedly discovered her diamond engagement ring in Fernandez-Diaz's purse on Nov. 9.
Fernandez-Diaz then returned the diamond ring and watch to its owner.
The suspect allegedly admitted to a Traverse City police officer that she stole items from the woman.
Fire and police officials found a victim about 3:30 p.m. today inside a Kalkaska Township home engulfed by flames.
