TRAVERSE CITY — The Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department will unveil its plans to display a piece of steel recovered from the North Tower of the New York World Trade Center at a ground breaking for the Grand Traverse Area 9/11 Memorial Park.
The small park will be located behind the Metro administration building on the northwest corner of Three Mile Road and Parsons Road. The public event will take place Monday at 9 a.m.
