YPSILANTI — Traverse City's Chelsea Guoynes just missed out in a U.S. Golf Association qualifier that would have put her in the USGA Publinx.
Guoynes shot a 4-over 77 to finish seventh in the 23-player field. The Traverse City Central junior was the only high school player in the tournament at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
