WILLIAMSBURG -- A local woman faces multiple felony charges after she allegedly stole a check from a relative and cashed it for $2,000.
Sarah Jones, 25, of Williamsburg, was charged Thursday with uttering and publishing and using a financial transaction device without consent.
Jones allegedly stole a Chase Bank check and falsely made it payable in her name in February 2009. The relative also said Jones stole and used her credit cards.
Jones has yet to be arrested, according to court records.
