Traverse City — Northern Michigan's Unique Market will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Aug. 11 and 25, at Annz Metalz Designz, 13692 S. West Bay Shore Dr.

Jazz and blues

Glen Arbor — Jazz/swing guitarist George Cole and bluesman James Hicks are on the schedule for the Manitou Music Festival.

Cole and his trio will play at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the Studio Stage at Lake Street Studios.

Rain site is the Glen Arbor Town Hall.

Hicks performs at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, outdoors at the Leelanau School. Rain location is the school student center.

Tickets for each concert are $15 for adults and free for children 18 and younger.

Lunch for seniors

Interlochen — Area seniors are invited to lunch at noon Monday, Aug. 13, at Redeemer Lutheran Church at U.S. 31 and Rogers Road. Seated exercises start at 11 a.m. and cards and games follow lunch. For details or lunch reservations, call 275-6796.

Legacy Gala tix

Thompsonville — Tickets are on sale for the Saturday, Aug. 18, Michigan Legacy Art Park's Legacy Gala.

The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the art park on the grounds of Crystal Mountain Resort.

Tickets are $60 each.

NMC classes

Traverse City — Northwestern Michigan College has released the fall schedule of community classes.

The line-up of 321 classes includes expanded online offerings and more. The Life Academy program also hosts luncheon lectures in September and October and a Campus Day for adults 50 and older in November.
