Orchestra of cellos
Cedar — The Leelanau Summer Music Festival will host "CelloSound," an orchestra of cellos, plus one soprano.
The concert will start at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Holy Rosary Arts & Education Centre, 6982 S. Schomberg Road. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Lions Club breakfast
Lake Ann — The Lake Ann Lions Club will host a pancake breakfast for the Scott Konchek family.
The meal will be served from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, July 8, at the Old Almira Township Hall, downtown Lake Ann. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
Torch Lake potluck
Kewadin — All area residents are invited to the Upper Torch Lake Association's Monday, July 9, potluck dinner.
The social hour starts at 6 p.m. at the Torch Lake Township Community Services Building, U.S. 31. Attendees should bring a dish to pass with an ingredients list, a favorite beverage and table service.
'Ellebration' set
Ellsworth — The second annual Ellsworth Ellebration will take place Friday through Sunday, July 6-8.

Roaring Twenties
Benzonia — Mike Nagle, professor of history at West Shore Community College, will discuss the Roaring Twenties at the Thursday, July 12, Benzonia Academy Lecture.
